A scientific research follows systematic procedures of investigation. They include:

1)Conceptualisation of problem -

•Selecting theme for studying

•Developing specific research questions based on past research, observations and experiences.

•Preparing hypothesis

2)Collecting data

•Developing blue print for the study

It contains 4 aspects: (a)Participants of the study (b)Method of data collection (c)Tools to be used (d)Procedures of data collection.

3)Drawing conclusion

•Using statistical procedures and graphical representation.

•Verifying hypothesis and drawing conclusions.

4)Revising conclusions

•Checking if conclusion supports hypothesis.

•If the conclusions supports hypothesis the theory is confirmed and if not then the hypothesis is revised or restated.

5)Alternative method of research

•Interpretive method: Everyone interprets reality in his or her own way based in past experiences. Therefore we need to understand the subjective interpretation of reality
