Start with an existing document

1 ) Click the file tab to open the backstage .

2 ) Click save as in the left panel .

3 ) In the save of dialog , type to name of document , such as " Business letter" or " Personal Letter" or " Appraisal Report " .

4 ) In the "Save as type" dropdown , choose Word Template .
