Let's define inequality first
Inequality in economic terms state that if there is skewed figures of income, and basic necessities like roti,kapada,makaan(food,cloth, shelter).
Provisions made by govt:
Various constitutional provisions encoded in part 4 called as directive principles of state policy (DPSP) .
Many legal provisions including taxation and acts releated with wages to bring equality in income etc.
Many schemes like pension and other schemes to bring equality in certain profession like farmers, workers etc.
Second type of inequality is social: on the basis of social status, region, your last name, appearance (physical).
