Some of the steps we can take to conserve our forest resources are as follows:
There are many wildlife sanctuaries and national parks such as the Bannerghatta National Park . Bandipur park , Sanjay Gandhi National Park in Mumbai and many more . The government has also introduced various projects in order to save the wildlife from extinction. The SAVE TIGER PROJECT has been introduced to save the national animal, the tiger. But still there are many animals who are almost extinct .Hence the government has to be more careful and take adequate measures to conserve the wildlife.
Many laws have been enforced to conserve wildlife. One such law is that poachers will be punished severely. The government has constantly been focusing on protecting the mighty tiger which is almost extinct. They have been trying to conserve the natural habitat of tigers that is the forests. They have taken forests as national parks such as the Gir forest in Gujarat as a national park. The non governmental organizations or NGOs have been constantly trying to conserve the wild animals . Government has to take up massive afforestation so that the natural habitat is conserved.
Due to the growing impact of deforestation, continuous efforts are being made by some anxious animal lovers to protect the endangered species of wildlife as well as those that are on the verge of extinction and thus save the world from running out of its green heritage
