Steps taken by the Government to improve Minorities:-

  1. Government has introduction Protective Discrimination which falls under the Right to Equality.
  2. Manual Scavenging has almost banned all over the country as most of the minorities do this work. This can lead to infection on eyes, etc.
  3. Government has made people aware about the exploitation of minorities.
  4. Many schemes has been implemented to invite the minorities and take part in the improvement of the country.
  5. They are, PMJDY, SYS, etc.
  6. Reservation has been done. Backward classes can get seats on legislature and they can also get govt. jobs easily.
  7. They have been given cultural and educational rights.
  8. They can send their wards to the school until their age becomes 14.
  9. Many other things are also done for the upliftment of the backward classes.
