Steps taken by the Government to improve Minorities:-
- Government has introduction Protective Discrimination which falls under the Right to Equality.
- Manual Scavenging has almost banned all over the country as most of the minorities do this work. This can lead to infection on eyes, etc.
- Government has made people aware about the exploitation of minorities.
- Many schemes has been implemented to invite the minorities and take part in the improvement of the country.
- They are, PMJDY, SYS, etc.
- Reservation has been done. Backward classes can get seats on legislature and they can also get govt. jobs easily.
- They have been given cultural and educational rights.
- They can send their wards to the school until their age becomes 14.
- Many other things are also done for the upliftment of the backward classes.
