Click the File tab and choose Save.
The Save As dialog box appears.
Click the Save In drop-down list button and select the folder in which you want to save the file.
Type a descriptive name for the file in the File name box.
Click the Save button to save the file in the selected folder.
Or else u can simply click ctrl+s.

Steps to save the workbook in Excel.
1. Click on Save As from the File Tab.
2. Now a dialog box will appear. Locate the place where you want to save.
3. Give a name to the workbook.
4. Click on save option from the bottom.
5. Now your file is saved and you can see it from the located place.
