well in india, first you prepare for the NEET exam, then you take it. if you score well, then send these scores to colleges, and hope you get admitted for mbbs. then you specialize with another degree

in america and canada however, you must have a bachelors degree (in any subject) and you must complete the pre-med classes. then, you take the MCAT and apply to med school. remember, you must be well rounded and not just a nerd. once you get in, you study for 4 years and get your MD or DO and write the USMLE, then you apply for residency. residency is basically on the job training. then you write the certification exam and bam!! youre a doctor!!
