Historical sites such as buildings, parks, conservation areas like water and animal sites need different care for all. Buildings need time to time renovation, paint job, patching and cleanliness. Water conservation sites such as Baawlis, public baths etc need regular plumbing checks and yes, renovation in structure too. Its important to keep them succumbing to wilderness. Factories releasing too much of air pollution should not be allowed near conservation sites. Civilians should not be allowed to reside near them. These historical sites are not only a living replica of our glorious past, but also a source of livelihood through tourism. Spending on its maintenance is never a wastage. Personal care such as not to litter, not to doodle on walls is equally important...
