◆In deserted plants the stomata are opens at night.They take CO2(Carbon dioxide) at night and is stored in the form of acid and is used during daytime for photosynthesis.

In desert plants ( xerophytic plants ) stomata open during night time to prevent the loss of water through transpiration.
They take up CO2 during night and store it in form of carbonic acid
and during the day when sunlight is available, the again convert it into CO2 and hence performs photosynthesis.
