Find Height using S=ut + 1/2 a t^2 :

h = 1/2 x 9.8 x (5x5)

= 122.5m

Distance covered in 2 seconds:

S = 1/2 x 9.8 x (2x2)

= 19.6m

gagandeep58: answer is not right
gagandeep58: height
tushaarcl: It is right, buddy. Think about it. If a freely falling particle can travel a distance of 19.6 meters in just 2 seconds, there is no way (without any resisting force) that it can travel just 22.5 meters in a total of 5 seconds with an acceleration of 9.2m/s^2 .
tushaarcl: 9.8m/s^2 **
