1)Taking the kinematics equation,

S=ut+1/2gt^2,

(where a=g)

80=1/2*10*t^2

t^2=80/5

t^2=16

t=4s

2) Using kinematics equation,

v=u+at,

v=0-10*4

v=-40m/s

I have taken g as 10m/s^2. You can also take it as 9.8m/s^2.
