horizontal distance=u√2h/g
so \: 40 = 25 \times \sqrt{ \frac{2h}{g} } \\ \frac{40}{25} = \sqrt{ \frac{2h}{g} } \\ {( \frac{40}{25} )}^{2} = { \frac{2h}{g} } \\ 2.56 \times 9.8 = 2h \\ 25.088 \div 2 = h \\ 12.544 = h
so height =12.544m
I HOPE IT WILL HELP YOU.
