Imagery is how the poet paints the picture of all the things in the poem. Like in this one Robert Frost talks about woods, where you can actually imagine a forest which is white because of snow and a frozen lake amidst it. You can picture the traveller w/his horse and a long narrow road leading to another town.
It is the description of the scene which a reader can actually imagine while reading the poem.
Most of Frost's poems are nature based while giving out a message related to our day to day life. The description of the nature makes it easier for us to picture it.
