Vidyasagar was a great scholar of his time. Once he was travelling by train. He was to address a public meeting in a city. A college student was also travelling by the same train.

Vidyasagar got off the train at his destination,so did the college student. He had a suitcase with him. He called for a coolie. But the station was very small and no collie is available. Vidyasagar offered him help. He carried the suitcase of the college student. College student followed him. When they reached outside of the station, the college student offered him some coins. But Vidyasagar refused to take them. The college student thought that they were not sufficient and added some more coins.
