I was in my eighth grade when this happened.I was walking by a bus stop and 2 transgenders stopped me and started asking me for money (Few transgenders, in India ask for money and give their blessings in return. It is said that if we don't give them money they might curse us and something bad might happen to us. I personally don't believe any of those sayings though.). I was scared. Both of them looked huge. They were checking my pockets and forcing me to give money. I initially said I don't have any money. But then, they noticed my wallet and told me not to lie and just give 10 rupees to each of them. I only had a 100 rupee note, and out of innocence and fear, I told them 'I don't have any change I only have a 100 rupee note'.One of them told me they'd give me 80 rupees back and the other guy in the mean time was counting and showing me the 80 rupees change. I believed them and gave them the 100 rupee note. And then to my surprise, they said, 'tumhare naam pe saree kharid lenge(think you gifted us a saree)' and they left without returning my change. I was a kid, 100 rupees meant a lot to me at that time. I started going behind them and was requesting for my money back, but they only ignored me.
