Sudha was an odd one out in her class. No one played with her or gave her company during break hours. Instead, her classmates enjoyed making fun of her. This was because she was a little hard of hearing and used hearing aids. She felt so lonely and miserable that she kept herself preoccupied with just focusing on the daily lessons and drawing, which was her favorite hobby. She used drawing to vent her emotions.
One day, the class teacher asked the class leader Nisha to draw a project on a particular theme. She did a good job and was busy showing it to everyone in the class except Sudha. Suddenly, someone accidentally poured water on it and there was a big smudge on it. Nisha had to submit the drawing in the next ten minutes after the recess break and she did not know what to do. Sudha came over silently and took the drawing from her. She pulled out her coloring pencils and put her creative skills to task. Soon, the picture was complete and much better than what Nisha had originally done. Nisha could not thank her enough and from that day they became best friends.
