I have a phobia popularly called as Glossophobia.
A fear of public speaking.Actually i don't have any guts.i am a introvert.one day my english teacher came to me and started saying,"i have been always telling u to take part in debates..you speak well and u can be a good orater my dear".
she again started saying,"you are going to speak a few lines on the stage tomorrow on the theme karma as our class is conducting the morning assembly".After saying this she went away.I had no guts to confront her .I had no other option.i thought"I can't speak.How can a girl with glossophobia speak on the stage??"
I was in a state where everything appeared black to me.This was the most challenging assignment .
I conveyed it to my best friend who encouraged me .
next day i was all prepared for the speech.
I spoke it at the stage and to my astonishment everyone applauded for me.I was felicitated by my friends,teacher and my principal for my wonderful speech.It taught me to overcome from my fears..Though i am not a great orator but when i speak everyone listens with full attention. I think this was the most challenging assignment I have ever done but whatever this assignment taught me a great lesson that to Do the thing every day that scares me.Actually it thrills me..............
