Story complete my grandmother alone at home she smelt gas leaking

My grandmother was at home, alone, and she smelt gas leaking. She called my mom to come and take a look at it. Eventually they found the source of the gas, a broken cooker, and called someone to get it fixed. For the time being my grandmother is staying at our house so she wont get sick from the fumes.

I think this is what I was supposed to do? Let me know if I did something wrong.
