I ran here and there to get hold of either a big log or rope. Fortunately, the fallen students got hold of a big boulder and hung on to it. Meanwhile I found a piece of long rope. I ran to the edge of the bank and threw the rope to the students struggling hard not to be carried by the strong current of the water.
The students got hold of the rope and we pulled them up one by one. As the second student was hauled up by all of us onto the ground, every one of us chorused, ‘We did it!’
