It was one dark cold night when I was driving alone on an isolated road. I was a bit scared as it was nearly midnight and adding to that, the moonlight was unusually bright that you don't need any artificial light source to look things. That was the very moment when my car stopped. I got panicked. I turned on the ignition again and again but it was all in vain. I tried to contact my friends so that they can help me. But in this area, there was no signal. I was too scared to get out of my car. I was sitting in the car for few minutes hoping that someone will pass by and I can ask help from them. But minutes passed and I didn't find anyone. I again looked at my phone hoping for signal. But no, there was no signal. So the only option I have is to get out from the car and search someone who can help me. And that's what I did. I stepped out of my car and walked a few metres. There was a huge house. Literally, looking like a abandoned house. I moved further to take a good look at the house. There was only one light glowing. I walked towards the door and knocked it. No reply. Knocked again, but this time louder. But again no reply. I knocked again and said. "Is someone there?" as loud as I could. After few seconds of dead silence, a lady came out if the house with a dog. She asked me the reason what am I doing at this midnight and why I was knocking her door. I told the reason. She said that she will help me. She went inside and came out with a man looking at her age. She narrated whatever I told to her. They both came towards my car and the man opened my car bannet and told the lady to hold the torch. He did something for some time and told me to on the car again. This time, the car turned on. I thanked them a lot and drove off.
