Once the king of delhi invited tenali rama to his kingdom ..
krishnadevaraya said to tenali rama that with your intelligence you have to bring any gift for me ..
then he went to delhi . The king was happy but he adviced his servants and the ministers not to give him gifts . tenali rama tried to impress them but couldn't then he got an idea .. he changed himself as an old man and started sowing seeds. The king was then.passing through the road he asked the old man why he was sowing the seeds . He was going to die even he cannot see the plant growing ..
he told that if he cannot eat the fruit his grandchildren can.. hearing this the king gave him lot of gifts .. Then tenali rama came to his own getup and the king was really embarrassed and proud of tenalis intelligence ..
