Unlike a normal student, I always love the results day. This is because the day is not a routine. I don’t have to sit like a plastic banana all day long in my class. I don’t have to control my dozing eyes in the history class and I don’t have to follow the same daily time table for the day. This very special day is like a puzzle to me. My heartbeat rises high and I become enthusiastic and excited. A bit of stress, a bit of puzzle, a bit of excitement, a bit of joy, all mixed up and messed up. I love that feeling.
I received my results and all at once, my heart drowned down from my neck to the bottom of my toe. I got very less marks in Computers and Mathematics. In fact, I’m good at math. Maybe I was wrong with the presentation as I am now in a higher class. I was so upset, but then I knew which subjects need attention. So I decided to work on both subjects every day. I’m sure you won’t believe this. From the moment I decided to work on the subjects, not again was more than 1 mark be deducted in my examinations. I even acquired many 100% in the subjects.
Then I know the meaning of “Failure is the stepping stone to success”. There is nothing that we cannot achieve if we decide to be determined.
