Story of a poor cobbler and rich man-

Once there lived a cobbler who had his little shop at the end of the church street. He was a happy man and served every customer with a broad smile on his face. His work was the finest in the town and was known for his efficient cobbling skills.

It was a fine morning and the cobbler was finishing some of his assigned shoes while the richest man of the town arrived in his shop for repairing his leather boots. The cobbler welcomed him with a big and bright smile. The richest man smiled back.

While the cobbler was repairing his shoes, he noticed that the cobbler was so happy and cheerful. The rich man asked how the cobbler was so happy while being the richest man could not make him the happiest. The cobbler replied, " Sir, I do my work passionately and honestly. Whatever I earn I am satisfied with that. I believe in God and I do not envy others. I am content with my shop and my little house behind the shop. I aim to be happy with whatever I do. I respect my work because it earns me my bread. I respect my customers because they are no less than the almighty to me."

The rich man understood that the cobbler was much wiser in his life while the rich man has just spent half of his life running after money.

The moral of the story is- Money cannot make one the happiest but inner peace can.
