Once there lived a famous king Krishnadevaraya . He had many courtiers and ministers in his court . One day suddenly a pandit came into the palace in the darbar and challenged everyone to compete with him . No one wanted to accept the challenge. The great pandit Tenali Rama also known as Pandit Rama krishna accepted it . He asked the pandit that let’s discuss the scripture of Tila - kashta - mahisha - bandana. The pandit had never heard this book ‘s name before and accepted defeat . After he left , the amused king asked Pandit rama krishna which was the book that he just told about. Tenali Rama said ,” Maharaj , There is no such book . I just described the plate , full of ropes , and a silken cloth with seeds . In Sanskrit, tila means seasame kashta means seeds , mahisha is a buffalo and bandana is the tieing the buffalo with a rope . Everyone one laughed
