In a village in ancient India lived Baniya lala, a rich merchant. People believed that Baniya lala was given a blessing to be immensely lucky by Vishnu during his youth. But Baniya never confirmed that. Once, he had organized a fair in his village where merchants from Afghanistan and Persia came to set up their stalls. The fair was a huge success and was going to earn Baniya a fortune of a lifetime. Baniya was overwhelmed with joy as he returned to his mansion, counting the gold coins and admiring their lustre.A gentle shower of rain added to his excitement.While he counted, "one", " two".. someone shouted, "Surrender, or we will shoot you! ".Baniya was terrified but he didn't turn back. He began to walk briskly when he suddenly heard a bang! This time he turned hoping to find a gunshot in his back, but all he could see was a man with his face covered in gunpowder and a flaming shotgun in his hand. Evidently what had happened was that the gun had exploded due to rain making the gunpowder wet! Baniya ran towards his house and hurriedly entered inside, he was safe. Eventually when the villagers got to know about the incident, one thing was assured, Baniya really was lucky!
