Story on angle tangle
Answers
Answer:
Step-by-step explanation:
We learn about the angles
1. Observe and recognise angles seen in our daily lives.
2. Understand that an angle is measured in degrees
3. Draw an angle with the help of a protactor.
4. Identify the vertex and the arms of the angle.
5. Distinguish between the different types of angles.
One day a boy and his father decided to go for swimming. That was a perfect summer day. They reached to a beautiful lake. The boy saw a man who is building something. Boy said to man " excuse me , what are you doing ". Man said " I am building a raft " . Father introduce himself and his son to the man " I am Jay and this is my son " . Man said my name is vishal. Man said to Jay , Once i build this raft i will go to the other side of the lake. Would you like to go with us . Jay said , Offcourse. Boy was very excited , But men need more to build this raft. He need to tie the logs in the right angles do the rest for support. Jay said to man we will help you to make tihis raft. But boy doesnt know about the angles , so they decided to wait until the raft is ready. Boy is very curious about the angles. He asked to his dad what is angles ? Dad said to boy " Do you know ray ". Boy said yes "A ray is line that starts from a point and goes on endlessly in one direction ". Now dad explain
Look at these twins logs imagine that these are raised, when we put these logs one one point they form a angle. " Two rays starting from a same point form angle ". That two rays called arms and the same point called vertex.
We generally name angle with letters, the letter at the vertex always be between the other letters. The boy take two big twigs and said i make a big angle. Father laugh at boy and said angle doent measure by the length of arms. Angles are measured in degree. The magnitude of an angle is measured in terms of the amount of turn required to go from the initial position . Angles can be drawn between 0°to 360° .If you want to draw any angle you have to use instrument called protactor. When we put two twigs in a shape of L that means its a right angle that equal to 90°. If you put in straight line its called straight angle it is 180°. If the angles be less than 90° it will be acute angle and if its more than right angle and less than straight angle it be obtuse angle.
Lets go to the vishnu , I think he has finished the work. Enjoy the rafting.
