EMPEROR ASHOKA

One night I asked my grandfather to tell me about the person who inspired him a lot then he started telling about emperor Ashoka

● Emperor Ashoka was a great king of mauryan dynasty.

● He was well known in India for his mode of rule and development.

● His aim was to unite India into a single Kingdom and hence called up for the war of Kalinga.

● But things were not favourable at that time and his own people started harassing others and hence he gave up the war and wanted peace in the kingdom.

● He finally got vexed of all kingship powers and adopted Buddhism and lead a peaceful life.

Even I was much inspired by him.
