Story on audience stood up in applause

I love going to school and meeting my friends but the only thing I do not like about school is studying. When there are sports classes or we do not have to study those days are my favorite days at school.
That made me so happy and also my friends we got really excited and started planning what we will do there. They took all of us to the auditorium where everyone was rehearsing and the atmosphere there was really fun. I had a really fun filled day there and had a lot of fun. It was my day well spent in the auditorium.
And the reason why I spent a good day at auditorium because there was some free time and everyone knew I sing really well so everyone asked me to sing. I started singing songs, after a while everyone stopped what they were doing and started listening to me. When I finished singing everyone in the audience stood up in applause I felt so good as everyone appreciated my singing.
Audience stood up in applause
Urjit’s singing performance was just a few days away. He had to sing in front of a jam-packed auditorium. He had done so well in the judges and audience ratings. He had sung some outstanding songs. His fan following had increased exponentially.
Now in the final round he had to compete against his equally talented rival, Suresh. He was also admired by millions of viewers across the nation. Urjit was quite nervous about the final performance. He had spent days and nights training hard learning all the singing skills he was weak in.
The day of final performances arrived. Both the singers had to sing 3 songs each. Judges had to give them 50% of the scores; the other 50% had to come from the audience from all across the world.
Urjit sang all his songs with heart and soul. There was not a single flaw in them. As the host began to announce the final results, everyone held their breath. Urjit’s hands clasped in prayer; Suresh too closed his eyes in silent prayer.
‘Ladies and gentlemen’, said the announcer, ‘The winner of Shining Star of India is URJIT’, announced the host. The audience in the stadium stood in applause.
