Yesterday my friend told me a story about what had happened with her one night. she was all alone in her house. Her mom and dad were not at home. They had gone to do some important work leaving Alia all alone at home. She was doing her homework and watching Tv side by side. Suddenly the bell rang. It was raining heavily that night. Alia stood up and marched towards the front door when suddenly she remembered one thing, her mother had told her not to open door if anyone rings the bell unless you know who the person is. Then leaning towards the door she asked" who is it?". A scary silence followed by the question she had asked. Suddenly the bell rang again. She again asked the same old question. But again no reply. Now fear had caught Alia. She was thinking what to do when suddenly the stranger outside the house spoke "Let me in Alia, or I will". A deep silence followed. Now Alia was sure that opening door will be very dangerous for her. She stepped backwards and ran towards the kitchen and started screaming at the edge of her voice and also started banging all the utensils. She went there because her voice could be audible to her neighbours. She screamed for help. The neighbours came out from their house with a black cloth like thing with them. They placed that black colored cloth on the head of the stranger covering his whole body and started beating him with sticks. Alia also came out from her house and started beating him. And then suddenly that stranger screamed out "Alia, don't beat me it hurts". "How did he know my name?" Alia asked herself. Then her Parents arrived at the spot and started asking her what had happened. She told her everything. Then suddenly The stranger screamed " I am your brother Alia, I am Siddharth." There was no end of bewilderment among all of them. when they pulled that black cloth from his body and had a look at his face it was Siddarth He was in a very bad condition.
They all brought him inside the house and asked him why was he actung like burglars. "I was just taunting Alia." He said in a trembling voice. Now all the eyes shifted there gaze from Siddarth to Alia. Some were confused and some were furious. A sense of embarrassment filled Alia. Then she spoke "This wasn't my fault. Why did he act like a stranger." By this time their neighbours lost interest in Alia and headed towards their house.

When Alia finished her story I don't know why but i started laughing. she asked me "You are laughing at such a thing".
" You can't even distinguish between your brother's voice and a stranger's voice" I said. "This happened with me, isn't it?" She said filled with anger. " What would you do If it happened with you?"
She was right. She had done what she was told by her parents. She grunted" You don't know that situation. So keep your mouth shut." ******
Her last statement rings in my ears whenever i remember her story. From that day I never talked about this thing with her. I never want to face these kind of strangers.
