Story on evil allures but God endures
Answers
One day Vijay was sitting sadly, so Satnaam asked him the reason behind his sadness. Vijay told that the next day they had Science test and Vijay could not learn anything. Satnaam tried to console him and assured that he would explain both the chapters which were in the syllabus to him. Vijay was relaxed now. In the evening Vijay did not study at all and the next day when the exam began, they all sat in their desks to write their test. Satnaam was busy writing, but Vijay didn't know many questions.
Vijay wanted Satnam to let him cheat from his paper, but it did not seem proper to Satnaam. He insisted that he should have learned the chapters the last day. Anyhow, Vijay kept insisting him, but Satnaam didn't argee. Later, he told Vijay, "Since you are my best friend, I want you not to pass by cheating and if I let you cheat, I would make you dependent which I don't want."
Vijay felt embarrassed and he promised Satnaam that he would sit and study with him from that very day. Both the friends were happy.
Evil allures but God endures
Since the beginning of mankind, evil has always allured man; and God, Divinity, and Heavenly forces always have endured. It all started in the Garden of Eden and even unto this day this allurement of evil and endurance of the Godly still continues.
Gibran and Shakeel were two young men who lived in a town in the mountains. Gibran had been a simple boy since his early childhood. He had all the virtues of a great man in him. He was composed, focused, industrious, honest, ethical, caring, and compassionate young man. His father was a man of mediocre means. Though he managed to provide everything for his family, yet it was always a hand to mouth existence! In spite of all this, Gibran had a deep sense of tranquility and serenity. He loved it. This peace gave him the strength to face all the challenges of life. No evil thought could allure him. Thus he kept on striving and pursuing excellence. He studied hard and always did what was right.
Shakel, on the other hand was also a very promising young
man. The predominant qualities that he had were ambition, restlessness, and a
strong desire to be successful at any cost – by hook or by crook. He always
tried to find a short cut to success. He would not hesitate using even unfair
means to achieve his ends. Thus, Shakeel grew up with a weakness for
temptations for evil things. These temptations resulted in his failures. He could
neither study hard nor keep the unwanted consequences of evil temptations at
bay.
Thus time elapsed; years passed by. Gibran’s endurance won him all round success! Shakeel on the other hand lost everything. Shakeel often envied Gibran’s success; but it was too late for him. He regretted having given in to the allurements of evil.
