There was a poor woodcutter who lived in village.One day he went to a bank of river for cutting tree to get wood.He used an axe for cutting a tree. When he was cutting tree his axe fall into river. He was not able to take out his axe. So he sat on the river bank and weep.
God asked him reason for weeping he told that my axe has fallen down in water he asked of which colour your axe was of. He told my axe was of made up of mercury then god said that u are honest and he gave him his axe back.
At that time other woodcutter saw that god is giving him his axe back. So he also threw his axe in river and started weeping god asked him why you are weeping he said that my axe has fallen in river. God asked of which colour your axe was of.
Really his axe was of iron but he told it was of gold god told u are lier your axe was of iron I will not give your axe back so he didn't got his axe back and he realized his mistake .
So moral of ther story is we should never tell a lie
