One day I was sleeping in my room Suddenly, I had difficulty in breathing. On waking up I found smoke coming into my room. I got up and opened the window. Peeping out I saw my dog's (his name is Kaplan) kennel was under fire. My dog was screaming under severe pain. I was terribly shocked by looking into such horrible scenario that too as my first sight in the morning.
I suddenly woke up and went near the kennel and tried so hard to rescue my dog. One of its legs were burnt severely. I couldn't see Kaplan at such situation. He's just 2 years old and is always too active and notorious.
I carried him in my hands and ran to the nearby vet clinic. It was 7 am in the morning. There was not even a single doctor in the hospital. I had no other way to help him out. I called the doctor and asked for first aid until he comes so that I could comfort my dog.
2 hours later with a bare first aid the doctor came and checked Kaplan and gave him all the necessary treatments. I was made to sit out and I my nerves were on peak. I couldn't resist looking into the room where Kaplan was treated.
My cheeks were like laid with all those rolling tears which my eyes couldn't even bear. I was praying the God in my life for the first time to save him. I am basically an atheist but somehow my dog has brought me a very good companion in my all alone life.
After my parents death in an accident, Kaplan was my all day friend and a good companion who helps me in fighting away my depression and loneliness. He is such a cute dog but I'm not sure what made him to pull into such situation.
My brain was rolled with thoughts and I saw the doctor coming out of the room near to me. He whispered in my ears that, "Kaplan is gone". I fainted hearing it with all my memories flashing into my eyes. He was my only leap of faith. I felt like nothing in life is needed to me as Kaplan. I was only for the reason of him.
The doctors gave me some emergency medications and made me to woke up. But I was dead an hour ago with the memories of Kaplan.
