Life without geometry is pointless; some people favor this saying and some opposed it. It is true in sense that if we haven’t geometry we won’t be able to build house and bridges. But critics says that though building houses and bridges are very difficult without geometry but building houses and bridges are not important part of life. They said that the saying life would be pointless without geometry would have change into life would be challenging without geometry.

Here's a story about a young boy Mahair who hated mathematics but was later told by his father the magic of maths.
Mahair was in 6th standard when he first failed in his Mathematics exams, he was very upset about it and was not taking to anyone in his house. Later when his father came from the work, he asked him what happened. Mahair started crying and said he hated mathematics. His father was very patient with him, and asked him what he hated about mathematics. To which Mahair replied that, mathematics has no practical purpose, that geometry in pointless in real life. Next day his father took him to market, where he challenged Mahair to find the geometrical figures in the market. Everything that Mahair saw was resembling some geometrical shapes, from the cone of the ice cream, to the spherical football, the disc shaped CDs, and the round pizzas. From that moment Mahair understood the practical purpose of geometry and promised to work harder in mathematics.
