Saved an Animal
One day while going to school I saw a puppy badly hurt. It was a very cute Labrador puppy of just a few days old. It was in critical condition and needed medical help immediately. No passerby was stopping to help it. I was in hurry also as I had Math test that day and I had planned to revise in the class teacher’s period. But seeing the dog, I could not just ignore it.
I picked the puppy and took it to the Veterinary hospital. They stitched its cut and gave a medicinal powder to put it on its cut three times a day. Since I did not want to leave the puppy at the mercy of fate, I decided to take it home. My mother was surprised to see me back home. ‘What happened? Why have you come back from school? Why are you holding this injured puppy?’, she asked me. I narrated her the entire incident. She was quite happy at my kind gesture.
Next day, the Math teacher took me to task for having missed the test. I explained him the reason behind the absence and told him I was ready for the test anytime. He also expressed appreciation of my good deed. The entire class clapped for me. I felt so happy for saving the life of a puppy.

Many animals threatened with extinction are losing their habitats or being hunted by humans. If you want to prevent extinction, there are ways to support organizations and change your lifestyle to help keep animals safe. You can choose to either donate time or money to support programs that fight extinction or you can help fight local extinction from home. With enough people supporting the cause, you can 1
Give monetary donations to wildlife funds to help animals worldwide. Many non-profit organizations help with the conservation of endangered species and accept donations through their website. Research and pick a non-profit organization, such as the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) or Association of Zoos & Aquariums (AZA), before choosing the amount you wish to donate. Provide your credit card information so they can use the funds to help save animals.[1]
You may choose to make a one-time donation or have a monthly recurring donation to help support the foundation throughout the year.
The WWF also offers gifts or “adoption kits” when you choose an animal to protect, though it will use some of the funds you donated to pay for them. If you want all of your funds to go towards conservation, you can choose not to receive a gift.
