Î was nervous and scared. I heard someone call out my name; "____ please come on the stage, you're next!"
I sighed. I always wanted to do this but now that I have got a chance, I feel butterflies fluttering in my stomach...
I reluctantly walked on the stage.
"I am not gonna screw it up this time. Act cool and everything will be alright," I consoled myself. But fates were planning otherwise. I took a step onto the stage and I slipped right across the floor. But, being the finicky person I am, I stood up. I walked over to the mic and was about to sing, but I slipped again and the crowd started booing. Slipped twice! On Britains Got Talent! On National Telly! Could it get any worse? That's when Simon Cowell spoke in my mum's furious.voice; "Annie! Wake up! You lazy girl! You're late again! I should have listened to your grandmamma and put you in a boarding school!"
