Story on The Tales Of Sand:

The tales of sand is a story where the stream passes from far off mountains and all kinds of the countryside and reaches the sands of the desert. But it cannot pass through the sand as it melts in the sand. After trying a lot the stream could not succeed.  

Then it hears some whispering sound from the sand where the sand advises that the stream that the wind crosses the desert, and so can the stream.  The stream objects telling that the wind can fly whereas the stream gets absorbed in the sand. The sand tells the stream to let go itself to get absorbed in the wind.  

At last, the stream gets absorbed in the wind. The wind carries the water in the form of vapor over the desert and then lets it fall again as rain where the water becomes the river.
