WHAT YOU LOOK FOR IS WITHIN YOU
We spend most of our lives looking for things around us but we need to recognise and acknowledge our inner self. Maybe what we are searching for is present within us. One such incident happened with Ramesh who lived in a village and was always unhappy.
He had a wife and a child and struggled in his own way to make the two ends meet. However, nothing could make him happy. Once he met a rich merchant in the market who offered him a huge amount of money in return of some work.
Ramesh, being a greedy and a needy man agreed and received the sum on completion of the work. He built a house and got a good lifestyle for his family, yet he was not happy. That made him realise that money was not the key to happiness.
One fine day he met a man who was handicapped and had nobody to call his own, yet he seemed to be so happy. Ramesh, quite surprised approached the man and wanted to know the secret of his happiness.
The man gave a smile and replied, "It's there within you, look into yourself". A deep conversation with the man made Ramesh realise that happiness lies within oneself. It cannot be created but needs to be discovered and cherished.
