This summer vacation, my parents permitted me to go to summer camps along with my elder brother. It was my first experience in a summer camp. I was very excited to go there. I packed all the things which my brother asked me to pack. When we went there we were introduced to each one of the children of the camp. There were six teachers and fifty children. We were given our respective rooms according to our names. There were many activities which we were asked to do starting from morning till evening. We had a drama club where the children were given an introduction about what drama is all about. Also, we learned many things and learned a play too. There were cookery classes where every child was given a chance to learn ways of simple cooking under the guidance of the teachers. We played with friends and enjoyed a lot there. I learned many new things in just a little period. According to my observation, a summer camp is a much needed offbeat break that every child should get a chance to experience.

Everyone loves their holidays. Today i am going to say a story about how i spend a weeks of my summer vacation. At first it was enjoyable. I played well and went to movies with my friends and when days passed on, it started to get boring.
Then i decided to go for a vacation camp and joined a drama club and cookery class. I learnt many things there like life skills ,survival methods and cooking etc. I also volunteered for a heritage club and came to know about our culture and heritage and how it is important to us. So i am fully satisfied now that i dint waste my summer holidays instead i learnt many things.
