This story revolves around a poor boy named Charlie and his poor family who hardly had anything to eat everyday. Charlie's grandfather used to work for a very famous chocolate factory owner named Willy wonka who produced the wonka bars. But one day Willy wonka's secrets for his delicious chocolate recipes were stolen. So Willy wonka decided to terminate all of his workers for this betrayal. One day Willy wonka decides to grant an opportunity to 5 kids who receive a golden ticket in a wonka bar.they would get a free tour inside his factory and can be accompanied by one of their family members to take care of them. Charlie gets a golden ticket and decides to take his grandfather along with him to travel inside the factory. Willy wonka finally meets all of the kids who each by each get eliminated after certain levels as they don't obey the rules put out by Willy wonka in his factory. Then finally Charlie is the winner of this and Willy wonka grants him his whole factory on one condition that is that Charlie must leave his family to come stay with Willy wonka in his factory and carry on with the work of producing chocolates and Candies and make new inventions. But Charlie rejects this one time life opportunity and says there is nothing more important to him in this world other than his family after a lot of consideration Willy wonka let's Charlie stay with his family and to own the chocolate factory too!
