ϙᴜᴇsᴛɪᴏɴ:

Rahul has a total of Rs 590 as currency notes in the denomination of Rs 50 Rs 20 and Rs 10. The ratio of number of 50 Rs notes and 20 Rs notes is 3:5. If she has a total of 25 notes ,how many notes of each denomination she Has ?

ᴀɴsᴡᴇʀ:

since total notes=25,

let ₹50 notes=3A,

20 notes=5A,

then

10 notes=25-3A-5A-25-8A,

now according to the question, We get

50×3A+20×5A+10×(25-8A)=₹590,

150A+100A+250-80A-590,

170A-590-₹250,

170A=340,

then,

A=340/170,

A=2,therefore

Rupee 50 notes=3x2=6,

Rupee 20 notes=5x2=10,

10 notes=25-6-10 = 9

Hope It'll Helps!

Answer:

given Rahul has 590rupees

Rs50,20&10 are there =total 25 notes

rs 50&,rs20=3:5

notes of rs50=3x

notes of rs 20=5x

notes of rs 10=25-(3x+5x)=25-8x

amount in 50rupees notes =50(3x)=100x

amount in10 rupees notes =10(25-8x)=250-80x

total amount=590

or ,150x+100x+250-80x=590

or,250-80x=590-250

or,170x=340

therefore,x=2

so Rahul has

notes of rs50=3(2)=6i.e;150(2)=300rs

notes of rs 20=5(2)=10i.e;100(2)=200rs

notes of rs 10=25-8(2)=9i.e;=90rs
