Answer:

A story on:

Explanation:

           WHAT DID THE SUBJECT TELL THE VERB

The subject in a sentence is what makes the whole point of writing a sentence. This is because, the whole other part of the sentence try to modify or tell us something about the noun which is the subject.

The verb adheres to the subject and works to tell an action that the subject did. The subject therefore uses the verb to tell us what action it did, therefore, the subject informs the verb of its actions so that the verb also informs us.

An example of a subject telling a verb the action to pass across is this;

Belinda wore a jacket.

In the above sentence, the subject which is Belinda tells the verb which is wore to inform us that it did the action of wearing a jacket.

                           Story telling:

Once there were 'two grammatical concepts' and they had a 'fierce argument' as to 'who was more important' than the other out of the two. The 'subject' said, “ Look verb, 'both of us are equally important' but 'you must follow me'. If you don't there could be a mistake”. To which the 'verb' replied “ How could that be"? The subject explained, “ Look, 'if you don’t inflect' according to my 'singularity and plurality', there could be a 'mistake in the entire sentence'. Like, if I am 'singular' and you remain 'plural', there would be a problem, similarly if I am plural and you remain singular, then there could also be a problem. The 'verb' agreed to have an agreement with the 'subject' and that’s how we got the 'Subject Verb Agreement'.
