Ramini, a street peddler of stationary article is very excited today as schools have reopened after the summer break. She goes from school to school, selling pens, pencils, sanitary napkins, biscuits etc. Ramini is a fourteen year old girl who loves to see those school goers on weekdays. She wishes to be one of them one day.
But she carries a child on her arms. Her own child. She was a victim of many assaults and now the result is this. But she never gives up. She goes on selling, calling out, "Everything affordable, 10rs., 15rs., 20rs., ...". Her cries are loud enough to pierce through the thick blanket of cheerful chaos of the whole school during tiffin period.
