There was a cuckoo who was born inside the nest of a crow. The crow was very affectionate towards her and took care of her just like its own offsprings.
When the cuckoo started growing up, her mother started to realize that she was a cuckoo. All the crows became very angry and pushed the little cuckoo out of its nest. Since, the cuckoo still had not learnt how to fly, it fell down from the tree and got its leg injured. The tree happened to be in the house premises where a very kind girl lived. When she came to play in the garden, she found the little cuckoo and decided to take it inside. She treated her with love and care and soon the cuckoo started getting better. Little by little, as the days passed by, the cuckoo learnt to fly. One day when she found the window open, the cuckoo thought of flying away, but when she looked at the girl who had saved her life, she decided to stay with her.
