There was an old Arab merchant. He was very fond of jokes. He would cut jokes himself and appreciate other’s  jokes.

He wished to look younger. So he used to dye his hair black. But he did not dye the hair of his head. He always covered his head with turban. Thus the grey hair if his head were not visible.

Once he went to attend a dinner party. Alongwith  other he started dancing. His turban fell off and his grey head was seen by everyone. His friends started laughing at him. They saed, “your chin is young though your head is old.” He gave a witty reply,  “the hair of my head are twenty years older than the hair of my chin.”

Moral:  a flash of wit can save the situation.
