Standing at the bus stop for 20 minutes now, i was anxiously waiting to catch the first glimpse of the the large motor vehicle. It was still no where to be seen. This made me think of all the good, refreshing plans i have made for the weekend, that were still awaiting in my little mind.

'Come on already', that thought was provoking my mind again and again. When i saw an old man approaching towards me. His clothes were in rags, his face looked as if he had slipped in a pool of mud. His slippers were torn near the thumb area. He walked directly towards me and stood right besides me. His presence made me a bit uncomfortable. I began checking the office bag and the wallet that i carried in the right pocket of my dark blue suede pants, again and again. I thought he might be a pick pocket ready to grab my things as soon as i glance away. Moving two steps away from him i stood close to a large noisy crowd of people who seemed to be having an argument over something serious. I got quite irritated by their loud, escalating voices that banged my ear drums again and again. I was getting quite annoyed when suddenly i felt a sudden push rather a much stronger one and someone seemed to directly touch my pocket where i had securely kept my wallet. The picture of that old man ran in my mind immediately. I turned swiftly to see who it was! Saw a young boy dressed in a smart new looking outfit whose hand was on my pocket and his other hand was held by the old man. Who was nodding to the boy saying 'do not'. Leaving my pocket, that boy ran away in a second without being seen anywhere.

Thanking the old man for his good deed, i rather got embarrassed to what i had done. This made me think how clothing and the overall appearance of a person sets a certain perception about someone in our minds. Finally the bus came and i sat in a seat rather quickly thinking about the incident that took place all the way back home.

DO NOT LAUGH AT ANYONE

It was 6 o’clock in the evening and there was a lot of traffic on the road. Mohan was driving his car when suddenly two teenagers on bike overtook his car and laughing, they drove on. Mohan applied the brakes of his car in the nick of time. He was very angry but since he was getting late for an important meeting at his office, he ignored the bike riders and drove ahead.

He hadn’t gone too far when he heard a loud crash. A bike had crashed on the divider of the road. The driver probably lost his balance. Mohan got out of his car quickly and rushed towards the accident. He could see the faces of the victims. They were the same teenagers who had overtaken his car. They both went were without helmets and were bleeding profusely. Mohan wasted no time. With the help of some passers-by, he picked them up and immediately took them to a hospital in his car. He informed their family members using one of the boys’ mobile.

The timely treatment saved the lives of the boys who were ashamed of their actions after meeting Mohan. Mohan forgave them and advised them to follow traffic rules as they are meant for people’s safety. They promised not to drive until they were eighteen.

HOPE THIS HELPS U...... ☺☺☺☺
