The new universe was absolutely different from their known one. It was dry with no trace of water or life on it. It was dark as well and it felt like a dark cave with nothing except some dry rocks. Even the rocks were different from that on Earth.
They felt suffocated and tried to reverse things to return to their own universe. Building a time machine was no more their priority, they just wanted their life back as this new universe wouldn't let them survive.
As they struggled with the machine trying to reverse things, suddenly a splash of water hit them and suddenly I woke up from my sleep. It was such a terrible dream where I saw my friends turned scientists trying to reverse reality.
However, though it was a dream, it taught me that one should never try to challenge reality or alter the norms of the universe, otherwise it will end up into catastrophic results.

This is a story of friendship with adventure. A project was given to students to built something out of the world in the college who formed groups as per their wish and started the project. The group of five friends decided to built time travelling machine as they always loved adventures. They had finished their project and before submitting, they wanted to try that out.
Hence, the group entered their time machine and the moment when they started on, they were shocked. They didn't mean to but in an attempt to build a time machine, they discovered an alternate universe. They were exported to a place before 20 years when they were just infant. Accidently, they were trapped there as they did not know the place and were confused about how to go back. The place was terrific as no man was present and the same was very dusty and dirty.
One of the friend remembered that they can travel back to present time with passcode and the passcode was group name. Hence, they entered the passcode and they were again in the present. This way they had confused feeling but finally did not submitted that project of time machine as it may get misused. They finally destroyed it.
