During the COVID-19 humanity has faced various situations that invoke human
interest. There are stories of innovation, sacrifice, going beyond the call of duty,
challenges faced and creatively solved these stories for the benefit of the society
for future reference.
So, write a story keeping in your mind the following criteria:
THEME:
• A person overcoming adversity
• Sacrifice and/ or going beyond call of duty
• Creative solution to a challenging situation
• Funny stories
• Innovations done that helped many
Guidelines:
• Language: English
• Word limit: 600 – 650 words
• Must be related to experiences of teaching, learning, use of technology
related to school education
• At the centre of the story, there should be a person or persons in the
context of school education, about a teacher, a student, a parent, a
volunteer, a school etc. who did an exemplar and extra-ordinary work,
out of the routine during the covid-19 pandemic period.
• Story can contain dialogues/ conversations/ photographs.
• It can be written to appeal to the emotional side of the reader.
• Name of the student, class and section, Name of the school, complete
school address, should be written at the beginning of the story.
Example of stories:
• A teacher who began teaching using the walls as black-board in
Jharkhand
• A teacher who began teaching on the village loudspeaker in Kachchh,
Gujarat
