THE UNEXPECTED

I had been the princess of my family. We held a very happy and joyous life. But my life had been playing a great tragedy with me. I had lost my parents in an accident when I was 10 years old . Now I am 18. I was alone after my parent's death. I started walking on a dark lane. I could see nothing except the stars on the sky. It was dead silent. I had no idea of what to do next. Suddenly a young man emerged from behind a tree. He intentionally blocked my way. His appearance threatened me. He must be a man of 28. He had an irregular face with unshaved beard. He was tall and had a broad shoulders which looked like the broad mountain reaching upto the sky. I was in complete fear. He was stepping forward. I stepped back slowly. Suddenly he pulled me by his side. I screamed in fear. There was a snake beside my leg, which was about to bite me. Fortunately the young man saved me. Though he had a rough appearance , his heart is like a valley flowing deep and silent. His words were like an cold ointment to my burning wound. I trusted him. He took me to his home. I accepted going to his home , because I found no other ways . I was welcomed by his wife. I had no idea that he was married. His wife had a same age as the man. She was so kind to me. I could see an extreme joy in her eyes. The couple were childless for almost 8 years. So they decided to adopt me. I agreed too. I could not even express my full joy as I was in an extreme sorrow. They grew me up. Day by day, my sorrow turned into joy. I could feel some soul connections with my new parents. One day, I saw their family photo. I was surprised. The man's brother was my dad. Once they had a little dispute regarding family asserts and both were seperated. The life had handed over me in the right hands. My eyes were filled with tears. Those were the tears of joy. I hugged my new parents with endless joy. I accepted them whole heartedly. They took care of me like their own child. Again I was the princess of my new family. And I continue to be the same.....

When my life took a thing from me, it also gave me a better thing.
