villagers came with sticks- boy laughed repeated the trick many times- villagers gots sick once wolf came- no help- killed.

once there was a small village on the hills. and nearby there was a dense Forest and shepherd boy used to take his flock of sheep across a field near the forest.

one day he was feeling very boring and wanted to have some fun. so he started shouting Wolf! wolf! help.. after hearing this, villagers ran towards him with sticks to help him. when they arrived, the laughed and said "sorry it was only a joke" the villagers got angry and then went back.

he decided to joke once again. he had a great fun. again he repeated his trick and started shouting wolf! wolf! again villagers came with stick and this time they were much more annoyed so they decided not to come if he starts shouting like this.

one day, when he took his flock of sheep near the forest, a real wolf came and he started crying and shouting wolf! wolf! help... but this time the villagers didn't came and said "he can't fool us this time" and the wolf killed the boy and his sheeps.

moral - nobody believes a liar even if he is saying the truth.
