The world knows what happens when Alexa's interest gets piqued and this is what formed the basis of the story. The minute the creative and enterprising teacher asked Alexa what could be done to improve the lives of the farmers this is what he came up with.
Alexa suggested that the children should be made up in batches and should visit these places for a week. For this week the farmers and the laborers should be taken care of at charity homes that are set up so that they have a break from their daily hard routine.
These batches of children can be given seperate work to do on the field like growing seeds on the fields, repairing and laying roads, cleaning the houses, digging canals for the villagers to receive water every day, etc.
By these steps, the farmers and laborers when they come back after the week's rest will be more comfortable and the children will also have an understanding of the lives which are led by these farmers and laborers.
Instead, the children are being asked to study from books instead of letting them have an actual field experience and this what was this idea Alexa provided, and not only did children have great fun being outdoors and learning things but even the farmers and laborers got their well-deserved break.
